Help through established organizations

Start with your family’s contact plan. Then, if you have time or skills to offer, ask organizations that already know the community and have clear roles what they need.

This site does not collect donations or incident reports, and it does not receive or arrange emergency dispatch requests. Do not use it to raise money, report conditions, or organize a response. Work with organizations that have clear responsibilities, procedures, and contacts in the affected community.

  • Link to the original source whenever you share information

Share information people can check

Share current official guidance and direct links to organizations. Before sharing, check the source, date, and location. Do not pass along anonymous screenshots, unverified military claims, or unverified requests for money.

Ask where your skills are needed

Translation, fact-checking, digital security, web maintenance, event coordination, first aid, and community communications can all help. Before promising time, supplies, or other resources, ask an established organization what it currently needs.

Advocacy and public education

FAPA’s public mission is to provide information about Taiwan to U.S. policymakers, media, scholars, and the public, and to advance grassroots advocacy. It is listed here for advocacy and public education. FAPA does not provide emergency relief; for help on the ground, follow local official information and contact relief organizations with formal points of contact.
