Make a family contact plan

You do not need to sign in or enter anything on this site. We do not store contacts, documents, or family plans. Write these notes down where your family can use them without internet access, and review them together.

Three things to do today

Choose two contacts.
Pick one main contact in Taiwan and one backup. Confirm their phone number, messaging app, and email address.
Agree on how to check in.
Decide when to send a short “I’m safe” message and who will contact whom if someone misses a check-in.
Know where important information is kept.
Make sure family members know where to find identity documents, regular medication, medical information, and emergency contacts.

Write down the essentials

Primary and backup names, phone numbers, messaging details, and email
Check-in timing and the next step after a missed check-in
Primary and backup meeting locations
Medical conditions, allergies, medication, and care needs
Locations of identity documents and other essential records
Ways relatives overseas may be able to provide financial help

If you cannot reach one another

Follow instructions from authorities in the affected area. Agree on at least two ways to reach one another, practice both, and keep important phone numbers on the offline contact card.

Family members in Taiwan should use official preparedness tools for local shelter and alert information. Relatives overseas can help check information and stay in touch, but local authorities should guide decisions on the ground.
